Privately owned Falaza Game Park and Spa offers an array of authentic bush experiences in a lush indigenous setting. A mere three hour scenic drive from Durban International Airport, just 100km from Richards Bay Airport, you can enjoy the true African experience and impeccable service offered by Falaza Game Park and Spa. Refreshments and meals can be enjoyed in a variety of cosy indoor settings or by staying in touch with the surrounding nature outdoors. The bar, lounges, outdoor boma shelter and swimming pool all encourage intimacy with nature, embracing the mood of the bush.

Olive Park Lodge - Temba Game Reserve

Guests are accommodated in seven en-suite luxury bedrooms, a conference room and a main entertainment area with bar and lapa. The rooms are complete with Oregon Pine flooring, under-floor heating or air conditioning and all the modern conveniences of a luxury game lodge. Each room enjoys colour television with the DSTV hotel bouquet, coffee- and tea-making facilities with a panoramic view over the Game Reserve from the veranda. On occasion in the early morning or late afternoon the wild animals will appear near the lodge which presents an excellent opportunity for some good photography.

Pumba Private Game Reserve - Bush Lodge

The Bush Lodge, also known as Msenge, is all about the relaxation that can only be experienced within the serenity of the African bush. This Eastern Cape safari lodge guarantees a unique experience as it displays breath-taking views over the watering hole, flood plains and mountain ranges. This means that, while basking in all of the luxury and warmth for which Pumba is so well known, guests enjoy spectacular views of some of Africa's wildest and most beautiful animals as they drink and interact within their natural habitat. Msenge Bush Lodge comprises 11 thatched chalets, each characterised by the extensive use of glass that gives visitors the sense of being a part of the Eastern Cape bushveld.

Sibuya Game Reserve-River Camp

River Camp is a favourite amongst friends, families and sole-use groups. It is the smaller, more intimate of Sibuya’s Camps and has four tents, ideal for families with children, or for specialist groups. The luxury tents measure 75 square meters (800 square feet), are adjoined by an en suite bathroom and accommodate two adults sharing in top-of-the-range king or twin beds, and the tent sits under an all-weather roof. Decks offer views of the river or the forest. Cot or camp beds are available for children sharing with adults. Discretely tucked into a small forest on the river bank, each tented room has been designed with its own unique layout in order to avoid felling trees and to protect as much of the site as possible. A light and airy design lets natural sights and sounds flood into the generously proportioned guest areas, creating a sense of oneness with the wilderness all around. Part of the purpose of a getaway is to relax! River Camp offers ample opportunity for guests to do this, and few pastimes can be more soporific than lying on a hammock with a book, indulging in a massage or listening to the birdsong in the trees. At night, the soft glow of lanterns and distant roar of the ocean are the only distractions from the crackling outdoor fire. Sibuya’s guests are hosted and guided by a team of experienced professionals. Their love of the environment and their enthusiasm for their work is infectious, and guests will find them to be not only knowledgeable guides but also gracious hosts.

Shamwari Game Reserve- Eagles Crag Lodge

Eagles Crag is situated on one of the largest malaria free Big 5 private game reserve’s in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, Shamwari Game Reserve, which is regarded as ‘The Pride of the Eastern Cape’. Located along the Bushman’s River between Port Elizabeth and Grahamstown, Shamwari forms a natural extension of the world famous Garden Route. Eagles Crag is tucked away and surrounded by imposing mountain cliffs, an expresses an elegant ambience amid nature’s beauty. The exclusive 9 detached suites which sleep a maximum of 2 adults per suite are fashioned in glass and stone, offering guests expansive views of the surrounding rock faces; where the eagles soar. Each suite is a secluded haven in which to unwind in sheer comfort.
