Rosy Mogotsi holds a BCom Marketing Management from the University of Pretoria and currently completing BCom HONS Business Management with UNISA. Her current position is Deputy Director Domestic Tourism at the National Department of Tourism and she has worked for organizations such as the City of Tshwane and the SABC. Her area of expertise extends beyond Project management and marketing as she is now focuses on domestic tourism product development where the scope of work revolves around stakeholder engagement and liaison at regional level. . She facilitates awareness workshops, training programmes and the latter are directed at capacity building processes in line with Tourism’s current emphasis on sustainable and responsible practices. The latter is also in line with travellers’ growing preference for experiences/visits at responsible/sustainable destinations. The work carried out by her through the NDT’s Domestic Tourism Chamber looks at interventions that involve public and private partnerships.
