From running her own business, to working in the fields of IT construction and the motor industry, Paula Bester’s career path, led her to the tourism industry in 2001, where Paula’s role at TEP is broad and includes financial advice and support to clients and colleagues, enabling them to make sound business decisions, to the development of financial strategy and corporate planning. She developed and manages a number of systems and the organisation’s HR systems and is responsible for overseeing all logistical aspects regarding the administrative and office functions. Paula obviously also ensures that financial practices are in line with all statutory legislation and regulations. Her duties are paramount for TEP’s financial success as clear budgetary planning is essential for future planning, both short and long term. she worked as company secretary for the Tourism Business Council of South Africa (TBCSA). She joined the Tourism Enterprise Partnership as Financial Manager and Company Secretary in 2008.
