Lisa-Ann is the General Manager of Operations for the Tourism Enterprise Partnership (TEP), a position she has held since late 2007. After graduating from the University of the Western Cape in 1993, she went on to do both a teaching degree and her BA Honours degree Cum Laude majoring in Urban Management and Geographic systems in 1995. Later Lisa-Ann’s interest and involvement with the government sparked an interest in economic issues and led her to take a number of post-grad courses in this field. She has many years working experience across the private and government sectors including a role at the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism as Director of Research and Development where she was instrumental in setting up the Tourism Black Economic Empowerment charter. As the General Manager of Operations for the Tourism Enterprise Partnership she is considered the practical force behind the successful strategy of the organisation. Her role in this position includes but is not limited to overseeing all nine TEP provincial offices to ensure that they operate effectively and efficiently, and that TEP projects and interventions are implemented seamlessly and with dedication.
