Amor Malan initiated and manages two Social Enterprises in Gauteng. She is also a managing member of Bamboo Rock, a skills development company which extended its scope to Organisational Development specializing in Disability issues. In 2006 Amor was appointed to the South African Tourism Board for two three year terms by the Minister of Tourism and Environmental Affairs. In 2012 she was appointed to the Gauteng Premiers Advisory Committee for a three year term and in June 2012 the Minister of Tourism appointed her to the Tourism Grading Council Awards Committee of South Africa. She has an MCom in Industrial Psychology and a BTEC Project Management Diploma, Education Training and Practitioner Diploma, has completed the Investors in People – Practitioners course as well as the Feuerstein Instrumental Enrichment Programme. Her disability is Quadriplegia.
